Kaleidoscope decorated with graphics of old games. The kaleidoscope is an optical toy. It is a cylinder with prism-shaped mirrors inside and a compartment at the end for small coloured objects such as coloured glass pieces. At the other end of the cylinder is a hole through which, when glanced at, the coloured objects are reflected back to form symmetrical patterns. The kaleidoscope was invented in 1816 by a Scottish inventor, Sir David Brewster. Dimensions:H 12,5 cm, diameter 3,5 cm.
